Philodendron Cosmic Registered

Now formally recognized and documented by the International Aroid Society’s Aroid Cultivar Registry.

Meet Philodendron ‘Cosmic’.

This hybrid was born from a deliberate cross begun on March 3rd, 2022, when Sasaporn Eudomphon and Busayamas Udomphol of Lanna Foliage Studio pollinated Philodendron radiatum variegated with pollen from Philodendron billietiae variegated. 

After the fruit ripened in June 2022, the seeds were planted and germinated through 2023. The result was a plant with a leaf shape and variegation all its own.

The result is a plant that bridges two stunning parents beautifully. Long, tapering leaves with gently wavy edges carry a yellow-and-green variegation that feels both refined and alive. The name fits.
